Erica Fensom

Director of Digital Government Marketing, Adobe

As Director of Digital Government Marketing at Adobe, Erica Fensom links the company's innovation in technology to the needs of government, for digital transformation and community engagement. She is responsible for Adobe's brand in the public sector and leads the marketing organization that drives global awareness, integrated marketing campaigns, demand generation, and field marketing.

A corporate strategist and communicator, Erica has worked at the intersection of government, new technology and communications for 15+ years. She is passionate about Digital Government and has worked with governments across North America, South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Prior to her current role, Erica was head of government affairs in Asia-Pacific at Adobe where she built public sector partnerships and enabled digital solutions. Erica also worked at BlackBerry as Director of Government Relations managing global public policy initiatives, at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation leading marketing programs and at the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C. managing media and advocacy. In that capacity, she co-created, the first digital network of friends of Canada in the U.S., enabled by the Government of Canada.

Erica has worked extensively with stakeholders in government and in the technology industry. She was a member of the Board of Directors at the United States Information Technology Office (USITO) advocating for the U.S.-China economic relationship and a board member at the Canadian American Business Council. She holds an MBA from Georgetown University with an honors certificate in International Business Diplomacy from the School of Foreign Service in Washington D.C. and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in Canada. Erica is based in the Washington, D.C. area, where she lives with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys skiing, travel and spending time outdoors with her family.
