Visual Communications Program Specialist, Architect of the Capitol
Michaela McNichol is a Visual Communication Program Specialist with the Architect of the Capitol, U.S. Capitol Visitor Center Division of Communications and Marketing. She holds an AA in Advertising Design, a BA in Visual Communications and has over 30 years of professional expertise in design, photography, project management, print and digital communications.
After 17 years of self-employment as a designer and art director, Michaela worked in the Library of Congress Public Affairs Office before coming to the U.S. Capitol.
Michaela has been honored with 23 design industry awards including a high-profile app project for the U.S. Capitol that recently won Adobe's "Creativity in the Public Sector 2015: Most Engaging Digital Citizen-Facing Creative" award.
